The Klub 17 is a mod for a popular adult sim called Sex Villa.  Here in Klub Exile we develop and provide mods for Klub 17 VX including clothing, rooms, poses, base game, and other interesting tid bits. Version 10 of "The Klub 17" ("TK17" for short). Latest version: v10.1 ("VX.1")

TK17 is an easy-to-use "sex simulator" that allows you to construct your own custom models, apply custom outfits, design animations ("Poses"), and test them in dozens of locations ("Rooms") to create your own adult movies (ie: "Sequences"). Officially, TK17 is movie-maker software, but most users enjoy simply playing around with the individual components. There's even a "QuickMode" just for fun that loads your model in a randomly selected room waiting to play with you.

The mod is based off of an old 3d sex simulator, which allow to you select up to four characters, select some scene for action and create some static or animated pose. The game has great character customization functionality and very simple pose creation interface, but it has very poor default graphics, because it was development under directx8. Hook 5 is a graphical enhancement mod, which allows users to change shading style of various objects in game, insert some new object into game scene, apply some 3d graphic effect to whole image including support for physx ragdoll hair.

TheKlub17 is the same 3DSV game, but hardly modded by internet community, it has wider customization functionality, a lot of additional mods like new cloth, rooms, toys and so on, but still the same graphic. Thanks to the efforts of a robust modding community, there are literally hundreds of custom outfits, locations, poses/animations, even custom voices, available for download all for free.  Here in Klub Exile you will also find exclusive mods found no where else. 

For those of you who are here, you might be wondering what ever happened to the ModsGarden site.  Well, short story the site lost funding and eventually due to a lack of the bills being paid the site went under.  ModsGarden was auctioned and bought by an advertising site squatter in early 2021.  Since then KE has emerged as the only independent site for The Klub 17.

So What About MG 2.0? Team K17 promised to deliver an official replacement for ModsGarden in early 2021.  However this is yet to happen as of 1 year since they made the announcement.  Currently there has been no updates coming from Team K17 if an official ModsGarden replacement is in the works and have currently set up shop in another club on Lovers Lab.

Is Klub Exile the replacement of MG? Well, we did not build Klub Exile as a replacement to ModsGarden.  We built the site to cater towards the needs of the modding community we felt were not addressed in MG.  That said with no other site out there Klub Exile has effectively become the main destination for all things TK17.  There will never be an official MG 2.0 neither we or Team K17 were the owners of ModsGarden.  Morataika and Morataika only, had the sole keys and administrative rights to the garden.  When she disappeared there was nothing anyone can do.

A special thanks to Morataika the Mother of the Garden, who without her single handed support of keeping MG alive for over 10 years, we would never be able to get this point.  RIP MG.

TK17 has been around for more than 20 years and has been modded and developed by many different folks.  This quick FAQ will provide some answers to the typical questions asked by users getting into the world of TK17 or even old users who have been curious about certain things.  The answers to these questions are based on the combined knowledge of the 6 admins from KE (Oz70NYC, x17, Smoke, Euphie, MarkZappa, and HDiddy).

1.Who Develops the game TK17?

TK17 is actually a modified version of an older popular game called SV2.  The mod was originally developed by White Rabbit (You can still see the Team White Rabbit Klub 17 or  "TWRK17" on the launch application for VX) and folks who have worked on the game has changed over the course of the last 20 years it has been in existence. The core developers responsible for much of what you see in the game today were Klub Adept, Raistin Kain, Rick9, Euphie, and Avarteas bringing in new core features into the game.  Since 2017 the mod is now being developed primarily by one user, Avarteas, whose primary additions is adding automation and scripting elements to the game. However without the likes of RK, Rick9, and Euphie adding new mods development of the mod has moved more towards automation of scripts with Lua.

2. Wait who is K17?

K17 is the self appointed leader of "Team K17" which is the team which have been developing the mod.  To be fair, he says he was elected but all the users who have been here from the beginning claim there was never an election. The user, now called K17 changed his name sometime around when the game got renamed from Lusty Ladies Sex Club to The Klub 17 (TK17). While K17 claims he coded something back in the 80's.  Maybe Pascal? K17 has not coded nor modded the game in recent history and his primary focus is making announcements.

3. Is there a Klub Exile Team Leader person?

Simply put. No. Klub Exile was built by a group of 6 individuals from different backgrounds all focused on the same goal. Decisions are made through a vote of the admins, mods, or the wider community. No secrets, no Alpha Channels, No Figure heads with egos.

4. What about V11 64 Bit?

V11, currently in Beta is the newest version of the TK17 mod. It is very similar to the current version of SV2, but with the included core mods from VX. It's primary feature will be the newer 64 Bit engine along with some upgraded graphics and better toys support. Unfortunately in our test of SV2 the graphics will be on par with the Hook4 graphics addon.  Because of this KE has decided to only officially support VX with Hook5, based upon the extended features Hook5 brings to the game not possible in the 64 Bit version

UPDATE:

As of right now it seems development of V11 has been put on a indefinite pause. The core and only developer of the Mod has been missing in action since Fall of 2023.  Unfortunately he added a DRM feature to the game where he only has the keys and no one else can mod the game until he unlocks it.

5. What is Hook64 and where can I get it?

According to Team K17 Hook64 is supposed to be the new version of Hook5 made specifically for V11.  It was been thrown out in the forums as something being worked on, however to this day not even a screenshot or a feature list has been posted. Some say it is just a renaming of the graphics engine that came with the latest version of Sex Villa 2 64 Bit. Others think it is an attempt to try recode Hook5 for V11.  Regardless the rumor....as of right now it is just an "idea" for the most part.

In May 2024 K17 mentioned that White Rabbit was back and now he is working on Hook64 and it is in "Pre-Alpha". Believe what you wish, but as of now Hook64 does not exist and there is no sign that it will ever exist.

6. What are these features that Hook5 has not possible in V11

Hook5 was a more advanced PBR system allowing users to get more realistic results when applied to assets in the game.  Additionally Hook5 supports features like Hairworks and Physx for hair and jewelry providing a more realistic experience to players and modders. H5 also includes the addition of bringing in static 3D objects into the game to develop and expand on the rooms and other features currently not possible with V11. Finally H5 has a more advanced lighting and rendering system allowing for much better lighting setups in rooms as compared to V11.  For more on what H5 does visit the tutorials section.

7. What about ModsGarden 2.0, where did it go, what happened?

8. What happened between Team K17 and the admins of Klub Exile.

Short story. We had a difference of opinion on how the community should move forward in the wake of ModsGarden dying. That said we wanted a site that met some key criteria for us as modders which included the following:

    A site were all modders are appreciated for their which actively combats leeching

    A site that is effectively moderated. 

    A site that applies rules around Patreon and other paywalls consistently

    A site that drives the development of new modders and content for TK17

    A site where all content is free and a community that is active

Unfortunately the team was not a fan of us building a modder focus site. While the KE admins tried to negotiate with the team in good faith, talks did beak down because Team K17 wanted 1) Administrative rights to Klub Exile and 2) Demanded we remove one of the KE founders from the admin team. We were not willing to meat any of these demands so we moved on our separate ways. 9. So what modders have release content on KE?

One of the first things we did, led by @Smoke, was to try to bring back modders who had left MG for various reasons to Klub Exile.  There are about 30 modders who have or have released content on Klub Exile. Some of the modders and content creators that have released new content on KE are the following:
